If you’re a local photographer here in Cape Town, it is hard to go anywhere without seeing on of Robert Miller‘s panoramic prints up somewhere! Doctors rooms, restaurants, you name it. Robert has made a name for himself & invested enormous amounts of time & money into shooting his noteworthy panoramics.
Now, for your educational pleasure, Robert has written a phenomenally (and certainly one of the most comprehensive) complete how-to on shooting panoramics. Check it out here!
I live for travel. It is no secret. My mile long bucket list of places in the world I need to take myself constantly grows. Just added Iceland. I have no words. Which is why these guys did a much better job. Do yourself a favour & watch them full screen in HD.
I don’t know about you, but it took a whole 3 minutes for me to get bored with the first lot of fuzzy 640×480 sized images that came from Mars Rover. Well get bored no more! How about a 4-gigapixel 360 panoramic of Mars! You can now check out the texture of rocks & sand. I swear I can see dry riverbed clay crack looking stuff there too. Sleuth Seagram reporting for duty. They could have saved millions & just asked me if I thought there was water on Mars… :P
