So who are you?
I, Seagram Pearce, am a full time freelance photographer based in Cape Town, South Africa. In a nutshell, I love what I do & I do what I love. A camera has become an extention of myself, as I have been taking photos since I was a boy. Photography is more than a 'job'. I don't wake up in the morning thinking I have to go work. I get to do what I love. Even if I'm somewhere on my own, I still take photos for my own enjoyment. One of my favourite motto's (which is on my new business cards) is, "It's more than just a job... It's an artpiece". This rings clear in everything I do. Photography is an art. It's full of life, character! It lives & breathes a story. I won't stop if I don't find that in my subject. Those who work with me know this about me. It's either the exact kind of person you want working with you, or it's not.

Any big clients?
Of course! There are firstly the magazines & publishing houses, such as WIEL Magazine, TopCar Magazine, Media24 & Ramsey Son & Parker to mention a few. Then there are some well known names such as Viglietti, McCarthy Cars & FutureExotics. Modeling agencies throughout Cape Town. Corporate clients. The list is constantly growing!

What about the small guys?
Nobody gets turned away, no matter how small. This goes for anything. Period. Whether you're Microsoft or Joe Soap, you are going to get the best service & final product possible. This is again, true to my working ethos of always producing 110% no matter what the brief is.

What's your main focus?
My main focus falls into the categories I have split my website up into. These are the things which I personally enjoy the most. It doesn't however mean that it is all I can shoot.

Hang on, I don't see what I need in your gallery!
Don't worry, it doesn't mean that I don't shoot it. I have tried to keep my website gallery to an absolute minimum. This is a bonus, as I will always have a surprise up my sleeve. I do alot of huge Corporate Events, Product Shots, Launch Events, Musician Profiles, Band Album Covers, Stock, etc. I actually challenge you to give me something I havn't done as of yet...

What equipment do you use?
There is a huge debate about whether it's the physical equipment that makes a great photo, or the eye & finger behind the trigger. I like to believe it's both. But just in case you're worried about the equipment side of things, don't. I use high-end Canon Digital equipment, with a fully kitted Elinchrom (those Swiss got it right) studio lighting setup, as well as lots of other gear to get the job done right, first time.

Individual needs?
You're unique. You have special needs, small requests, maybe a bit extra of something. I try be very accommodating. I will always listen to what you need or want & provide the best advice & service suited to you. This goes for the packages outlined in the pricelists & even custom jobs you might have. If your native North American Honey Bee business needs really awesome photos, we will even travel for you. If it is local (JHB, DBN, PTA, etc) this is no problem, I am very often all over the country for this purpose. Just be sure to arrange this with me beforehand. However, my passport is well used & I'm available worldwide.

Do you do weddings?
If I had 10 bucks for everytime I get asked this, I would in fact be rich enough to not have to work at all. In an ideal world. However, in the real world, I do weddings yes. If you havn't seen it yet, in the 'personal' category, there is a 'weddings' sub-category. I do not advertise myself in this capacity at all & all weddings are done via referal only. You will notice I mix my fashion/beauty style with a strong 'photojounalistic' style. I will not be in your face & under your feet the entire wedding day. It's not my style. If this sounds like your perfect scenario, then I am an excellent person to have shooting your wedding.
